Meet Tsila Glidai
I have over 30 years of experience in Education and Teaching English. To say that Education is a passion is an understatement, as it is a love that has continuously helped me overcome obstacles, embrace challenges, and keep my career moving forward.
Along with Education, I also have another passion: Writing. So far, I have had 10 children's books published on Amazon, as both ebooks and paperbacks. Nine of them are part of a series called: "Tell Me A Story, Grandma Glee!" The tenth is a heartwarming and suspenseful story called: "Silver Tiger And The Honey Cake", based on a true story!
My first book that combines my educational ambition with my love of writing is a book full of amusing stories that are full of the required vocabulary words and a wealth of activites and games is called:
"Laugh And Learn From A-Z" Band 1

This is the first of a three book series.
The term "bands" refers to the Israeli Ministry of Education's way of dividing the vocabulary words into levels. Band 1 is the first level, followed by Bands 2 and 3, and recently even Band 4 has been added.
I have already published books for teaching Band 1 and Band 2. Band 3 Core 1, which is the first part of the 3rd level, has recently been approved as well, and will shortly be available for purchase..
Amusing original stories
The amusing original stories and fun activities will help the students to acquire the necessary vocabulary with hands-on activties and fun games all along the way.
From my years of experience in teaching English as a foreigh language, I have learned that the most efficient and enjoyable method of causing the students to retain the numerous vocabulary words that they are required to study is by making them into a humorous story. There is nothing better that the combination of humor and a good story to enable the students to remember all those words!
For teachers, I strive to focus on collaboration, mentorship, and communication, ensuring every teacher could be at their best. For teachers everywhere who are attempting to arm their students with a rich arsenal of words that will help them attain command of the English language, revision of endless word lists is definitely NOT the answer. I wholeheartedly advise what has become my motto:

Overall, I find the ability to combine my teaching experience and my writing skills incredibly fulfilling, and I aim to carry my teaching in the field experiences forward, ensuring I can embrace past lessons while continuing to grow as a writer.

My first book, Perry The Fairy And Her Tail, was published in 2017. The book was inspired by my oldest granddaughter Sapphire, who asked me a lot of questions, and I made up stories to answer them. Sapphire wanted to know why fairy stories are called "tales". This question led to a hearwarming story about Perry, a gentle sad fairy who was miserable because she had a long white tail!
In 2017, I also released my second book –Poppy And The Popcorn– This is a story that tells us how popcorn was discovered! It seems that a little Indian girl named Poppy, threw some corn kernels into the fire one day, when her mommy wasn't looking!
My third book: The Land Called Frame, answers yet another question. Sapphire wanted to know why kids (including herself) are never satisfied with their appearance. Almost everyone she knew would prefer different colored eyes, hair, etc. In this eye opening story, Grandma Glee tells Sapphire about The Land Called Frame, where everything was incredibly boring because- everyone was exactly the same! Until one day their lives changed forever.
Silver Tiger And The Honey Cake is my first short story.
Silver Tiger lives with his mother Serena and his three siblings in the backyard of a kindhearted elderly woman named Sara, who looks after them devotedly. Sadly, when Sara falls ill, Serena has to find food for herself and her kittens on her own. Read this heartwarming suspenseful tale told by Silver Tiger himself, to find out what happens.

A few words about me
I have been teaching English as a foreign language in Israel for over 30 years. I am also a writer of children's stories, and I have recently decided to combine these two loves, plus my love of humor, to serve my passion for making the EFL learning experience enjoyable and rewarding.
Using the levels of English vocabulary provided by our Ministry of Education, based on the recommendations of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), I have created 3 collections of amusing original stories. exercises and games in a series called:
Laugh and Learn from A-Z, that contains all the recommended vocabulary for Band 1, Band 2 and Band 3, as the levels are referred to by the Israeli Ministry of Education.
On a personal level, I live in Kedumim, Israel, and I'm married to a great guy named Zeev. We are blessed to be the loving parents of of eleven children and several grandchildren. They are our joy and inspiration.
